Well I had a great time at Expo, lots of new dollfies and people. I also got to shake the hand of a hero of mine and obtain a signed copy of his new book (which is amazing.)

I'm starting with a photo of Flora as I didn't post her on my journal last time and she is very doted on at the Self pad :)
I plan to go to the Costa del dole (Torquay) A.S.A.P and get some material from this huge fabric shop to make her clothes. I hope to take her to the Blythe meet on November 19th but she may have to wear the parka :?

Now that I have left my job and "retired" (thats a joke, a mate wrote it in my leaving card and I nearly choked), I have no excuse while on my sabbatical to post more here and on PLG, DOA, TIB etc...
Although I have my leaving party tomorrow so thats me hung over for a week and then.......

Another fantastic weekend of food, booze, plastic, resin, fabric and friends.
I would to say thanks to Mel and Mick for the buffet, music and entertainment. Also thanks to Liz, Nat, Zoë and Alex for coming and creating the buzzzzz.
I would also like to thank Maz for Sunday, the barbecue and hospitality. Hi to all the Angels of Life I met there too! :)

Well Its not Cecile (clothes are fab but I don't like his sculpt after looking on YJP). I am v confident I can make a similar outfit and I have spied the perfect boots.
My pirate is a Volks though! ;)
I should be Kissin' the Gunner's Daughter for all this spending!!!
I have also been working on my website and taking some photos of my Blythe's.

I have also acquired a new outfit for Fairuza and I am now searching for a 9 to 10 inch Katana with scabbard (paper knife/miniature replica). Keep an eye out ;)

Well I had a great day yesterday and have followed it up by doing bugger all today. I have just managed to move my corpse like body from bed to the computer. Food has been acquired via the "begging passers by" option. My pin brain has been ticking over by sifting through BJD sites.

I also want to thank Charlie, Rachel, Maz (and family) and Lisa for being so kind and welcoming throughout the day. You were all also very helpful with my BJD questions, thanks again!
Thanks Charlie for the piece of Volks wig velcro(Aeon's wig fell off about 10 times and was nearly stood on a couple!)
Post London Expo I have decided I'm going to work on my own cosplay outfit for any future anime involved BJD meets or tings. Nothing crazy, maybe pirate/pirate hunter Roronoa Zoro (an excuse to buy samurai swords).
You see I was quite taken by the many outfits ;)
I have also decided I would like a Pirate Cecile or a Shiro Tachibana.
I can't say why :)
I have my ISA i'm building up and sometimes its like "sod the future studio flat idea for now and buy a resin army."
I have also seen a BJD kimono that I have my eye on, it is amazing. I could make one but I need to find a good source of fabric with goth/punk images on(like small skulls).
Well I think that covers it.
